Annual Report 2016 mastheadA year that included a 50th anniversary celebration, 2016 not only gave the College of Architecture and Design reason to celebrate its history, but it also challenged the college to consider Year 51 and beyond.

The college’s 2016 annual report celebrates the successes of the year and conveys challenges for the future of the college. The year was marked with a 50th anniversary celebration that engaged more than 750 alumni, significant faculty achievements, student successes, a milestone for the college’s design/build program and a Top 10 ranking. The college saw increases in undergraduate applications, out-of-state enrollments and ACT scores of incoming School of Architecture freshmen.

Challenges identified by the college include the need for student scholarships and internships, funding for the purchase of the Fab Lab building, long-term industry partners and more.

In addition to celebrating the successful year and laying a foundation for future success, the 2016 annual report also is one way the college says,

“Thank you”

to friends, families and alumni. We recognize and celebrate your unwavering support.

As we look at Year 51 and beyond, we hope you will enjoy a look at our 50th year.
