Synergy is interested in hiring a recent graduate from the School of Interior Design for full-time work in Knoxville. A brief description of the Project Designer position is listed below.
- Provide design services to customers related to programming, typical development, installation drawings, and furniture/finish specifications.
- Analyze and assess furniture use and needs.
- Develop functional and creative design solutions that meet the client’s requirements, aesthetic and budget.
- Prepare customer presentations and engage in consultative design process through the use of design intent drawings, space plans, furniture typicals, furniture plans, specifications, installation documents and rendered images.
- Apply knowledge of design trends, code requirements, and appropriate product applications when developing design solutions.
- Ensure accuracy of all drawings and specifications prior to presenting to client and/or placing an order.
- Participate in key project meetings from project conception to project completion.
