Reception: “Sound Dislocation,” a student exhibit by Marion Forbes

Architecture student Marion Forbes will present her exhibit, “SOUND DISLOCATION” at the 1010 Gallery, 113 South Gay Street. A reception of the exhibit will be Friday, October 25 from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
About:
Studying the formal relationship between music composition and spatial narrative, a mixed language has begun to inform an architectural thesis. A sound installation results from a process of abstracting sound and music with visual means of representation in architectural form. This exhibition will showcase exploration of work done throughout the Spring 2013 semester.
