2017 CAREER DAY || FEBRUARY 24, 2017 || 10 AM – 4 PM
The College of Architecture and Design will host its annual Career Day on Friday, February 24, 2017. Career Day is an opportunity for employers to engage some of the country’s best and brightest students. All architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and allied industry firms are invited to attend. All profits from Career Day go towards the College of Architecture and Design, its students and student organizations.
DETAILS || PRICES
Career Day will be held in the Terrace Room on the west side of Neyland Stadium. This generously large room is typically used as a conditioned indoor concession concourse during game days for those with Terrace seats – or often for large university gatherings hosted by the Chancellor or Provost.
Within the Terrace Room, we are able to offer three types of spaces for visiting with our students: Standard, Premium, Ultimate. Each space will be provided with furniture and internet access and a boxed lunch will be provided for up to 3 representatives. Coffee and light fare will be served throughout the day.
STANDARD: includes a 6′ table, black table cloth, 2 chairs. Access to electrical outlet not guaranteed.

PREMIUM:SOLD OUT! includes a 6′ table, black table cloth, 2 chairs, and an assigned high-top counter (as seen in photo above) for more private one-on-one conversations/interviews. Those who select the premium fee also will be featured on the display screens in the college administrative offices, and showcased through social media. (14 spaces available – please specify if you need access to electrical outlet)

ULTIMATE:SOLD OUT! includes a 6′ table, black table cloth, separate interview station in semi-private alcove off main concourse. Those who select the ultimate fee also will be featured on the display screens in the college administrative offices, and showcased through social media. (5 spaces available – please note that access to electric is NOT available in these alcoves)

If you joined us last year, please log in with your username/password and proceed to the 2017 Architecture and Design Career Day event (aka event #1146). If you are new this year, first set up a brief employer profile and then proceed to register for the 2017 Architecture and Design Career Day event. Please make sure to indicate your logistical preferences for setting up, electrical access, and whether you will attend the Thursday reception, as well as any dietary restrictions. These items can be found immediately following the selection of a standard, premium or ultimate option.

Join us the evening before the event on Thursday, February 23, 5:30 – 7:30 PM for a reception, generously sponsored by SESCO Lighting. Since our community of professionals has grown over the years, we will need to graduate to a larger venue. Stay tuned for location details! Please let us know, in the registration process, if you plan to attend.
STUDENT RESUMES / WORK SAMPLES:
Approximately two weeks prior to Career Day, student resumes and portfolios will be made available online via private-access link to participating firms.
If you plan to attend the 2017 Career Day, we recommend the Hilton Knoxville in the heart of downtown Knoxville for your convenience. We have set aside a group of 20 rooms at the rate of $96 per night (plus applicable taxes) which includes complimentary parking.
