2018 CAREER DAY || FEBRUARY 23, 2018 || 10 AM – 4 PM
The College of Architecture and Design will host its annual Career Day on Friday, February 23, 2018. Career Day is an opportunity for employers to engage some of the country’s best and brightest students. All architecture, interior architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and allied industry firms are invited to attend. All profits from Career Day go toward the College of Architecture and Design, its students and student organizations.
DETAILS || PRICES
Career Day will be held in the Terrace Room on the west side of Neyland Stadium. This generously large room is typically used as a conditioned indoor concession concourse during game days for those with Terrace seats – or often for large university gatherings hosted by the Chancellor or Provost.
Within the Terrace Room, we are able to offer three types of spaces for visiting with our students: Standard, Premium, Ultimate. Each space will be provided with furniture and internet access and a boxed lunch will be provided for up to 3 representatives. Coffee and light fare will be served throughout the day.
STANDARD: includes a 6′ table, black table cloth, 2 chairs. Access to electrical outlet not guaranteed.

PREMIUM: includes a 6′ table, black table cloth, 2 chairs, and an assigned high-top counter (as seen in photo above) for more private one-on-one conversations/interviews. Those who select the premium fee also will be featured on the display screens in the college administrative offices, and showcased through social media. (14 spaces available – please specify if you need access to electrical outlet)

ULTIMATE: includes a 6′ table, black table cloth, separate interview station in semi-private alcove off main concourse. Those who select the ultimate fee also will be featured on the display screens in the college administrative offices, and showcased through social media. (5 spaces available – access to electric is available in these alcoves)

On the next screen you will see the 2018 College of Architecture and Design Career Day listed in the Preferred Event box. Select this choice and proceed from there.
Please make sure to indicate your logistical preferences for setting up, electrical access needs, and whether you will attend the Thursday reception, as well as any dietary restrictions. These items can be found immediately following the selection of a standard, premium or ultimate option.
Join us the evening before the event on Thursday, February 22, 5:30 – 7:30 PM for a reception, generously sponsored by SESCO Lighting. Stay tuned for location details! Please let us know, in the registration process, if you plan to attend.
STUDENT RESUMES / WORK SAMPLES:
Approximately two weeks prior to Career Day, student resumes and portfolios will be made available online via private-access link to participating firms.

We have set aside a group of 20 rooms at the rate of $96 per night (plus applicable taxes) which includes complimentary parking.
