2016 CAREER DAY || FEBRUARY 26, 2016 || 10 AM – 4 PM
The College of Architecture and Design will host its annual Career Day on Friday, February 26, 2016. Career Day is an opportunity for employers to engage some of the country’s best and brightest students. All architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and allied industry firms are invited to attend. All profits from Career Day go towards College of Architecture and Design students and student organizations.
DETAILS || PRICES
This year, Career Day will be held in the Terrace Room on the west side of Neyland Stadium. This generously large room is typically used as a conditioned indoor concession concourse during game days for those with Terrace seats – or often for large university gatherings hosted by the Chancellor or Provost.
Within the Terrace Room, we are able to offer three types of spaces for visiting with our students: Standard, Premium, Ultimate. Each space will be provided with furniture and internet access and a boxed lunch will be provided for up to 3 representatives. Coffee and light fare will be served throughout the day.
STANDARD: includes a 6′ table, black table cloth, 2 chairs. Access to electrical outlet not guaranteed.

PREMIUM: includes a 6′ table, black table cloth, 2 chairs, and an assigned high-top counter (as seen in photo above) for more private one-on-one conversations/interviews. Those who select the premium fee also will be featured on the display screens in the college administrative offices, and showcased through social media. (12 spaces available – please specify if you need access to electrical outlet)

$450 After January 15, 2016
ULTIMATE: includes a 6′ table, black table cloth, separate interview station in semi-private alcove off main concourse. Those who select the ultimate fee also will be featured on the display screens in the college administrative offices, and showcased through social media. (4 spaces available)

Join us the evening before the event on Thursday, February 25, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.for a reception, generously sponsored by SESCO Lighting, at the Peter Kern Library located in the Oliver Hotel, a location near Knoxville’s Market Square. Please let us know if you plan to attend.
STUDENT RESUMES / WORK SAMPLES:
Approximately two weeks prior to Career Day, student resumes and portfolios will be made available online via private-access link to participating firms.

We have set aside a group of rooms at the rate of $92 per night (plus applicable taxes) which includes complimentary parking.
