What is TAAST?
TAAST, The Annual All-College Spring Thing, is a week-long event that features lectures, workshops, a kickball tournament and more. All students in the college are invited and encouraged to participate in this fun break from studies.
When is TAAST?
Mark your calendar for TAAST on March 3-9, 2018, and watch for details.
TAAST also hosts a Fall Ball, which will be held Oct. 21, 2017, 8 p.m.
The 4th Annual ALL COLLEGE FALL BALL
Fall Ball will be held on Saturday, October 21, from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m., at The Central Collective, 923 N. Central St., Knoxville 37917.
TAAST Week 2018 will be centered around a theme of craft and making. To gear up for this week of making in the spring, we are starting off with a white canvas, clean trace, blank slate, etc…. you’re the makers and designers to fill the canvas! Wear your black and white and come for the live band, dancing, disco ball, roof top fire table, and UT/Alabama game, which will be streaming on a flat screen TV!
Tickets will be sold on the bridge in the Art + Architecture Building until October 20. You can also purchase tickets at the door.
In the meantime, enjoy this video from 2015 as faculty try to remember what “TAAST” stands for:
