Christina Betanzos Pint, AIA, NCARB

School of Interior Architecture

Christina Betanzos Pint is a licensed architect and instructor of First Year Design. She has practiced in the field of architecture since 1992 – as a licensed architect since 2003. She was a member of the architecture faculty from 1995 to 2001 teaching first and second year design and collage, and rejoined the college in 2021 teaching first year design. Pint’s focus on the development of formal and spatial concepts that creatively solve practical problems intersects in her teaching and practice. Her focus in practice has been in the earlier phases of projects where research, analysis, critical and strategic thinking, conceptualization, and higher level creative problem solving occurs. Outside of practice, Pint is also interested in collages as a medium for explorations in formal and spatial design, as a conceptual framework in architecture and planning, and as a creative activity.
