January 5, 2014 College to Host Open House March 31

The College of Architecture and Design at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, will host an open house on Monday, March 31.

The event, from 1-5 p.m., will give prospective undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to learn about the college’s programs in interior design, landscape architecture and architecture. Each program is accredited and is the highest ranked program of its kind in Tennessee.

Participants are encouraged to register by March 27 at https://tiny.utk.edu/coad-openhouse.

The open house will offer potential students from high schools and universities from across the country opportunities to meet current students and faculty, and learn about the integrative, hands-on experiences unique to the college’s programs. See or save agenda.

Open house activities will be held in the award-winning UT Art and Architecture Building and will include presentations by faculty and discussions with student leaders and program chairs. Participants also have the opportunity to attend a lecture at 5:30 p.m. with internationally recognized architects, Mack Scogin and Merrill Elam, who will be presenting the keynote lecture of the Church Memorial Lecture Series.
