50th Anniversary Lecture: Thom Mayne 3:30 Bijou Theatre

The College of Architecture and Design welcomes Thom Mayne, principal of Morphosis and Pritzker Prize-winning designer, as the General Shale Keynote Lecturer.  Part of the college’s 50th anniversary, the lecture takes place on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the historic downtown Bijou Theatre, 803 S. Gay Street.  It is free and open to the public.

at the Fab Lab, April 28, 6 p.m., and in the Art + Architecture Building, April 18, 20, 22.

Money raised goes to support the college’s chapter of AIAS.

In addition to the Pritzker Prize, Thom Mayne’s work has been recognized with the Neutra Medal for Professional Excellence, AIA Gold Medal Award and Chrysler Design Award.

Part of the Robert Church Lecture Series, the lecture offers continuing education units.
