Our nationally recognized Design/Build Program was named a Top 7 Program by Study Architecture, a part of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture. By creating innovative, real-world design solutions like Knoxville’s Beardsley Farm Education Center, a fresh-water kiosk in Kentucky and educational and medical facilities in Haiti, our students build experience and community.
The Fab Lab is our premier maker space. It offers students unparalleled access to tools and technologies to make their design visions a physical reality. Contributing to downtown Knoxville’s urban renewal, the Fab Lab is a 20,000-square-foot maker space in a renovated historic building, but there’s nothing old about the Fab Lab.
