2014 LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE INTERN
Overview
Ross/Fowler is seeking talented applicants for a paid summer internship position. The intern will be exposed to as many
facets of landscape architectural practice as possible. Interns will work with landscape architectural project managers to
produce plans, renderings, 3D models, Autocad drawings, construction details and presentations for our wide range of
current projects. Interns may gain experience by accompanying project managers on site visits to construction projects.
Eligibility
The internship position is available to students currently enrolled in an accredited university degree program in
landscape architecture (graduate or undergraduate) and who will return to school to complete their studies upon
completion of the internship.
Location
Ross/Fowler has celebrated over forty years of award‐winning landscape architectural practice in Knoxville, TN.
Duration and Work Schedule
The intern will be expected to work during their summer break (typically two to three months). R/F’s office hours are
8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

2. Resume (1 page) ‐ Please include:
Where you are enrolled in an accredited landscape architecture program and what year you are in (i.e. year 2 of
a 3 year program)
Any previous education or related work experience
A list of software in which you are proficient
3. Portfolio (8 mb maximum file size) – Include the following:
Project examples: clearly describe your role and contribution to the project
High quality samples of your best hand and computer‐aided graphics

Time. R/F will review the submittals and develop a shortlist of applicants for the purpose of conducting interviews. We
expect to make a selection in April.
