January 3, 2017 College, Friends Exceed $5,000 Goal for Haiti

Thanks to the generous donations of the college’s many supporters and friends, the Haiti Hurricane Rebuild Project raised $5,985, well over the $5,000 goal!

After Hurricane Matthew devastated much of Haiti on Oct. 4, the college began working to raise $5,000 to purchase building materials to rebuild a damaged roofing system in Fond-des-Blancs, Haiti. The fund drive ended on Dec. 30 with $5,985 being raised.

Having designed a school, medical facility, housing, and other structures for the people of Fond-des-Blancs through John McRae’s Haiti Studio, the college has established a deep relationship with the community. With the $5,985 donated by our generous supporters, the college will again provide aid to its friends in need.

Thank you!
