Oyler Wu Collaborative, an experimental architecture and design firm, will exhibit in the Ewing Gallery from Oct. 12 - Oct. 31, 2018. The exhibit is the first comprehensive show of Oyler Wu Collaborative's work featuring original hand drawings by Dwanye Oyler and jewelry from Jenny Wu.  The opening reception will be held on Oct. 12  and the closing reception will be held on Oct. 31.

Carse’s lecture, titled “Logistical Environments: How Deepwater Dredging Links the Panama Canal and Southeastern United States,” will discuss how rapid global connectivity is achieved through place-based construction and standardized infrastructures. Through his analysis of the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project, Carse will explain how waterways are standardized to accommodate new generations of megaships and discuss how globalization is affecting land use and water management in coastal communities.…
