March 20, 2019 Dean Hosts Open-Forum Discussions with Students

Dean Scott Poole has begun hosting open-forum sessions with students in the college to address issues and work toward better awareness and appreciation for each other.  The sessions, called Dean’s Student Forum, are opportunities for students to bring ideas, concerns and suggestions to the dean and fellow students in a safe, casual, open and welcoming environment.

The dean hosted the first forum on March 13, and the next one is scheduled for Wednesday, April 10, 12:15-1:15 p.m., Rm. 217A.  All students in the college are welcome.  No RSVP is needed.  For more details, students can check their e-mail from Dean Poole dated March 7 and sketchbook on March 11.

During the forums, the dean facilitates rich, constructive dialogue, and all who are present listen, speak, ask questions and learn together.

Upcoming forums:

  • Wednesday, April 10, 2019, 12:15-1:15 p.m., Rm. 217A
  • Wednesday, May 8, 2019, 12:15-1:15 p.m., Rm. 217A

The forums will begin again in fall 2019, and dates will be determined by the group and announced by the college.
