The Dean’s Student Advisory Council has updated the Guidebook app to assist students and faculty. The app features a building map with interactive locations to help students pinpoint faculty offices and room locations. The app also allows users to receive updates about new lecture dates and last-minute alerts about visiting professionals in the building and includes an abbreviated VolShop inventory, college directory and more.

We hope the app will increase communication and awareness across the college and between faculty and students. To initiate this increased communication and awareness, the app also features our new studio culture policy. A redesigned studio culture graphic raises awareness about the importance of studio culture and reminds students of its tenets.

DSAC will continue to publish new updates throughout the year, including a tutorial series of instructional videos. These videos will help students navigate 3D printers, operate laser cutters, save files in PDF and much more.
