Lecture: Bryan Cantley

No CostJoin us for a public lecture by Bryan Cantley, California State University, Fullerton, on Monday, Sept. 17, 2018.
Cantley’s lecture, titled “Classificationing,” will be a survey of Cantley’s recent experimental works, using the idea of the investigational drawing as a source code for emergent ideas. He will explore technology as a generator for new social spaces and discuss new ways to produce further inventions.
Cantley has lectured and exhibited at architecture schools internationally, including University College London, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and University of California, Los Angeles, and has been a visiting faculty at SCI-ARC and Woodbury University. He completed undergraduate work at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, and graduate work at University of California, Los Angeles.
This lecture is provided by the Robert B. Church Memorial Lecture fund. Unless otherwise noted, lectures begin at 5:30 p.m. in Rm. 109/McCarty Auditorium in the Art + Architecture Building, 1715 Volunteer Blvd. All are welcome.
