Career Day Portfolios Due
February 2, 2015
IF YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR RESUME AND DESIGN SHEETS TO BE AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW BY PARTICIPATING DESIGN FIRMS, YOU MUST HAVE YOUR DOCUMENTS UPLOADED TO THE ACADEMICS SERVER BY 5 PM THIS MONDAY, FEBRUARY 2ND.
If you do not make this deadline, YOU CAN STILL PARTICIPATE IN CAREER DAY!! It just means your documents will not be viewed by firms ahead of Career Day itself. In that case, you will bring your design sheets – or full portfolio – directly to Career Day in anticipation of meeting with firm representatives. If you want my advice – upload your work. You can always improve upon the portfolio over the next few weeks…
Some firms will review material ahead of Career Day in order to schedule interviews directly with students on Career Day itself. Others will not.
Design Sheet samples and other important information has been added to the Career Day | Student Participation page on our website. Please take some time to review. Access to all three workshop presentations (portfolio, cover letter, resume) and the video from Diane’s workshop are also now available.
As a reminder, you will be uploading one JPG for use as the thumbnail to your collection of documents as well as separate PDF files for your
