Church Lecture Series: Schneiderman (Rescheduled from Jan. 25)

No costDeborah Schneiderman, professor of Interior Design at Pratt Institute in New York and founder of deSc: architecture/design/research, will lecture at the College of Architecture and Design on Feb. 1, 5:30 p.m. The lecture will be held in McCarty Auditorium, Rm. 109. (This lecture was originally scheduled for Jan. 25 but was rescheduled due to weather-related air travel delays.)
Schneiderman’s lecture, “The Prefabricated Interior,” will follow her scholarship and teaching, which explore the emerging fabricated interior environment. Her research has been widely published and includes the books, Inside Prefab: the Ready-Made Interior (Princeton Architectural Press, 2012); The Prefab Bathroom: An Architectural History (McFarland, 2014); an architectural graphic novel style history (illustrated by Bishakh Som); and others.
Part of the Robert Church Lecture Series, the lecture offers continuing education units and will be streamed live. All lectures in the series are free and open to the public.
