Downtown Studio First Friday: The Works of Ryann Aoukar

Bringing design to downtown Knoxville, the UT College of Architecture and Design showcases both nationally and locally recognized artists and designers in the windows of the Downtown Studio, 500 South Gay Street. A First Friday event is held each month.

A gifted furniture and industrial designer, Ryann Aoukar is a faculty member of the UT Interior Design Program. Prior to coming to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, he was an interior designer with Gensler and the lead interior designer for Rem Koolhaas, OMA, Rotterdam. His experience spans from large corporate designs to hospitality and residential design. He taught previously in Reims and New York. His website is http://www.ryannaoukar.com.
