You made it!

Online doesn’t mean out of touch! Our final reviews this semester, although conducted virtually, will be engaging and creative. Check out the schedules including the names of this semester’s reviewers below for the School of Architecture, School of Interior Architecture, School of Landscape Architecture and School of Design.

One of the hallmarks of our creative culture is our curiosity about and desire to learn from all final review sessions. Every year, students, faculty and staff attend multiple final reviews to see the work from across our college. We’re making it possible to continue that tradition despite being separated due to coronavirus.

• Students, staff members and faculty members of our college:

Watch for Zoom passwords via e-mail each evening and feel free to use them to join the Zoom final review sessions of your choice each day. Please protect the passwords and do not share arbitrarily. Do not post passwords to any social media account. Requiring passwords helps us prevent Zoom bombing (when uninvited people join a Zoom session and cause disruption).

• Parents, grandparents, other family members and friends:

You are welcome to join the sessions to observe, too! Students, faculty and staff, please feel free to share passwords selectively with your loved ones. One benefit of being separated by miles is that families can experience final reviews along with their students, possibly for the first time ever!

Final reviews are a culmination of dedicated and focused work.  This is a time of great celebration (and stress!) for our students. Congratulations, students, for arriving at final reviews, especially as this semester shifted in March to a different way of learning and teaching. This week and beyond, we recognize your perseverance, resilience and tenacity and your professors’ dedication and innovation.

To our graduating students:

We are proud of you. You have persevered despite a disappointing circumstance and modeled for other students how to change direction, be flexible and maintain a high level of creativity and devotion in the face of change.
