L.Arch Lecture: Ed McMahon

On the evening of Wednesday, March 26th, the UT Landscape Architecture Program is proud to welcome Ed McMahon, Senior Resident Fellow at the Urban Land Institute (ULI) to our campus for a special lecture event: Secrets of Successful Communities.  See below.

The event will be held in A+A 109, McCarty Auditorium on March 26 from 5:00 – 6:30.  Registration and refreshments will be from 5:00-5:20, and we will introduce our speaker beginning at 5:20.   Attendees are required to RSVP at their earliest possible convenience to julie.etqg@gmail.com or dori.caron@knoxmpc.org. Please indicate if you need a free parking pass at the time of your registration. Parking information will be sent to those individuals. Carpooling is encouraged. AIA and GBCI CE Credits are available for those in attendance.

Through this presentation we will learn more about building prosperous communities, what’s next in estate development, and calculating the economic benefits of preserving and enhancing community character.

Ed is a nationally known consultant and author in the field of Sustainable Development, leading ULI’s worldwide efforts to conduct research and educational activities related to environmentally sensitive land development policies and practices.
