Lecture: Josh Cohen

Join us for a public lecture “The Future of Transportation and Sustainable Energy– Tesla’s Approach” by Josh Cohen on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 6:00 p.m.. He will explore the latest innovation occurring within Tesla as it seeks to redefine automobiles and support transportation infrastructure. In addition, he will discuss new approaches to electricity generation and storage. Cohen’s discussion will highlight how the company plans to move forward in an effort to promote a sustainable form of energy infrastructure and mobility at a global scale.
 
Cohen leads global product training at Tesla, where he’s been for six years. He and his team work to ensure that Tesla’s customer-facing staff are knowledgeable about the company’s vehicles, solar products, energy storage solutions and software. Previously, Cohen studied psychology, energy and the environment while looking at the technical, societal and psychological barriers to the mass adoption of clean energy technologies.
 
This lecture is presented by the School of Landscape Architecture and the Department of Plant Sciences at UT. The lecture will begin at 6:00 p.m. in Room 109/McCarty Auditorium in the Art + Architecture Building, 1715 Volunteer Blvd. All are welcome.
