Nataly Gattegno, co-founder of Future Cities Lab, will lecture at the College of Architecture and Design on Monday, April 10, as part of the Robert B. Church Lecture Series.  The lecture begins at 5:30 p.m. and will be held in the Art + Architecture Building’s McCarty Auditorium, 1715 Volunteer Boulevard.  It is free and open to the public.

Future Cities Lab is an experimental design studio that explores the intersections of art and design using advanced fabrication technologies, robotics, responsive building systems and public space. Gattegno’s lecture will explore current built and speculative work by the studio.

In addition to leading Future Cities Lab, Gattegno serves as an associate professor and chair of graduate architecture at the California College of the Arts. She has previously taught at the University of Michigan, the University of Virginia and Cornell University. Gattegno holds degrees from Princeton University and St. Johns College, Cambridge.

The lecture offers continuing education units and will be streamed live.
