November 13, 2014 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us for our special lecture with Dorte Mandrup, added to the Church Lecture Series lineup on November 13.

Dorte Mandrup Arkitekter (DMA) is an international practice, based in Copenhagen, Denmark, founded by Dorte Mandrup in 1999. Today the office employs approx. 30 ambitious and committed architects. The studio is internationally renowned for original architectural design of very high standards, both conceptually and formally – from the scheme to the 1:1 detailing.

DMA pushes the boundaries for known typologies, working in the wide spectrum of architecture but with the specific aim to solve programmes in new and aesthetic ways. This had led to appraised buildings, often used as references for visionary solutions. The portfolio shows a vast variety of projects; cultural institutions, buildings for children and youth, sports facilities, schools, housing, master plans and office buildings, as well as renovation and alteration of Federally Listed historical buildings. – A complex net of programmes woven with the specific expression of Dorte Mandrup Arkitekter.
