March 17, 2020Avigail Sachs a Fellow at the Israel Institute of Advanced Studies
In February Avigail Sachs joined a research group titled “Retheorizing the Architecture of Housing as Grounds for Research and Practice” at the Israel Institute of Advanced Studies in Jerusalem. The research group is a unique opportunity to discuss theories and terms in the discussions of housing and their application to architectural practice and education. Sachs is also using the five month sojourn in Jerusalem to complete a draft of her second book, currently titled Atelier TVA: Architecture, Landscape, Planning and the Tennessee Valley Authority. The title does not include the word housing, but the book certainly does!
