What makes someone decide to give?

Robert B. Church Lecture Endowment

In 1974, Anne P. and Robert B. Church funded an endowed lecture, the Robert B. Church Memorial Lecture Fund. Because of the longevity and growth potential of an endowment, today the fund is responsible for bringing close to 300 top lecturers to the college and community.

Thank you for your support!

We salute all of our donors for choosing to support the college, our faculty and our students, and we proudly share the list of our donors ($100 and more). This list is updated annually and is shared in our annual report and on the donor board in the college. Interested in adding your name to the list? BarberMcMurry Architects Endowed Professorship

The BarberMcMurry Professorship promotes design excellence through teaching by an internationally recognized architect. The $1 million endowment is the result of a bequest from Charles I. Barber and a match from BarberMcMurry architects, including alumni Kelly Headden (’88) and Charles Griffin (’84). BarberMcMurry Visiting Professors have included Larry Scarpa and Wendell Burnette.

Aydelott Endowed Travel Award

Starting in 2016, the Aydelott Travel Award was established by the late Alfred Lewis Aydelott, FAIA, and his wife, Hope Galloway Aydelott, to enable students of architecture to engage in firsthand observation and research of any four architecturally significant structures across the world. Each year, the endowment provides more than $100,000 ($20,000 each with a possible additional $5,000 post travel) to four students currently enrolled in professional architecture degree programs at UT and three other SEC schools.

Thank you, donors, for enriching our college!
