Through the support of the European Union’s Erasmus+ Program, the School of Art at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, Poland, are launching an exchange program for undergraduate students. Students pursuing a BFA or BA degree in studio art, graphic design, or art history at UT Knoxville are eligible to apply to spend the spring 2019 semester (February-June) in Wrocław. Students who will be juniors in the spring of 2019 are especially encouraged to apply.
Wrocław is a city of 630,000 on the Oder River in Western Poland
The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design has extensive course offerings in English in all art and design disciplines. Students participating in the program will study and interact not only with their peers from Poland, but also with Erasmus exchange students from Europe and beyond. The academy typically hosts more than 70 such residents each year.
The UT student selected to participate in spring 2019 will receive a stipend towards travel, housing, and living expenses for the five months of study (February-June), provided by the Erasmus+ Program. The student will pay tuition and fees to the University of Tennessee during their semester abroad.
