George Armour Ewart Architect does a wide range of building types including hospitals, medical office buildings, retail, office and industrial projects. The firm is licensed in 10 states, but the majority of its work is within the East Tennessee region. Job description and benefits are follows:
Intern Architect– We guide you through the IDP process assuring that you have completed the hours required for the examination. Our firm prepares you to be an Architect by taking you to client meetings early in the process to understand their needs, then delivering solutions for their needs. As your experience grows, we give you more responsibility.
Salary- $34-$40,000 pending experience
Benefits- Vacation is one week the first year, two weeks second year, three weeks after seven years and four weeks after 15 years; Sick days are five days per year; Health Bonus to cover health insurance; Retirement is a matching Simple IRA; Life insurance and Disability; Pay for you to maintain your architectural license and professional privilege tax; Pay for professional organization memberships.
