A professional fraternity dedicated to architecture and the allied arts, the Theodorus Chapter of Alpha Rho Chi fosters a dynamic community where students collaborate through professionalism, philanthropic contributions, and a shared brotherhood. Rooted in tradition yet driven by innovation, the Theodorus Chapter strives to push the boundaries of architectural education and design. American Institute of Architecture – Student, AIAS

A student chapter dedicated to fostering meaningful connections between students and local design professionals. Through networking events, mentorship opportunities, and club meetings, AIAS aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world practice. Our goal is to prepare students for their careers by providing an understanding of what a career in architecture and design looks like outside the classroom environment.

A student organization of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, dedicated to emphasizing connection, creation, and community within the graphic arts. 

American Society of Landscape Architects Student Chapter, ASLAS 

A student group working with ASLA to enhance the educational experience of landscape architecture students and advance the discipline. 

Dean’s Student Advisory Council, DSAC

A group of students representing all disciplines of our college who act as a liaison between the dean of the college and the student body. 

Freedom by Design

An AIAS community service student group that aims to impact the lives of people in their community through modest design, construction solutions and addressing accessibility issues. 

IA Collaborative

The student chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) at UT. It fosters professional development, knowledge exchange, and community among interior architecture students. As an extension of student cohorts, IA Collaborative provides resources and support to its members and the broader design community, striving to make a positive impact in the field.

National Organization of Minority Architects – Students, NOMAS 

A student group dedicated to cultural pluralism in the architecture profession and academia that seeks to provide a collective voice for underrepresented students by building a sense of community based on shared experiences.

Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society, Beta Alpha Chapter, TSD

An honor society for students in architecture and allied arts to celebrate excellence in scholarship, stimulate mental achievement, and award those students who attain high scholastic standing. 

The All-College Annual Spring Thing

Organized and led by students, The Annual All-College Spring Thing (TAAST) is an annual week-long celebration that features lectures, workshops, a banner drop, a kickball tournament, a ball and more.  All students in the college are invited and encouraged to participate in this fun and educational break from studies. 

Started in 1971 as The Annual Architecture Spring Thing, TAAST has both evolved and stuck to its roots over the decades.
