October 4, 2019 Interior Architecture Students Attend National Design Convention

For the third year, students in the School of Interior Architecture traveled to Chicago for NeoCon, a convention that showcases trends and innovations in commercial design.

During summer 2019, 4th-year students Christopher Brewer, Amy Loy, Jungyeon Park and Rachel Payne attended NeoCon thanks to the generosity of Crossville, Inc., a partner in our Crossville Studio and a leading tile manufacturer based out of Crossville, Tenn.

Attending NeoCon allows students the opportunity to build valuable professional connections and to learn about industry trends from top commercial design professionals.

Our Crossville Studio focuses on students designing using Crossville’s products, exposing them to a real-world, leading tile product.

Brewer, Loy, Park and Payne were chosen for their excellent designs completed in the spring 2019 Crossville Studio, taught by Rana Abudayyeh, Lisa Hoskins and Lisa Mullikin.

This is the third year that Crossville, Inc. has sponsored our Interior Architecture students’ trip to NeoCon.
