Molly Blackwelder

Molly Abbott Blackwelder is a practicing interior designer with her own commercial and residential design firm, ban•spas interiors. She has been working in the industry since she graduated from her Master of Art in preservation design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her career started by working for the International Design Firm Gensler, focusing on workplace and high education commercial design. She later took the leap in 2020, opening her own firm.

Since 2019, Molly has been a faculty associate at Arizona State and now at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, teaching IARC 221 Color Theory.
