MLA, MSLA, MALA
We offer a two-year post-professional MLA for students with prior professional degrees in landscape architecture and a two-year non-professional MSLA/MALA for students interested in careers that would benefit from knowledge of landscape architectural design concepts, design thinking skills and related fields such as ecosystem management or sustainable development.
Our post-professional MLA is for students interested in development of skills or who want to develop a particular area of research. This track may also be of interest to professionals who are interested in a mid-career retooling of their skill set with new digital practices, contemporary theoretical paradigms, new material and tectonic strategies and updated ecological models and tactics.
Our non-professional MSLA/MALA is for students who want to develop greater knowledge and understanding of landscape-related topics and requires the successful completion of a robust thesis project. This degree will not prepare prepare students for licensure.
After Graduation Careers in Landscape Architecture
Our graduates are employed nationally and internationally in professional landscape architecture offices and landscape-related organizations in which their creative and communicative skills are in demand. We have an ever-increasing footprint in the United States and are constantly forging new connections with firms looking for future leaders in the field. To support our graduates, we have active internship and externship programs.
