School of Landscape Architecture

We examine the potentials of landscape as a medium for robust cultural exploration and experimentation--not simply as an exercise in problem solving. We seek ambitious, curious students who are interested in helping us explore the world-changing potential of landscape architecture. Landscape architects provide leadership in the design and planning of the built environment from across scales ranging from small sites to entire regional systems.

What Distinguishes Us

Landscape Architecture Programs

Since the vast majority of our students arrive without prior design degrees, our dynamic curriculum begins by establishing a platform of design fundamentals, historical/theoretical concepts and technical skills. Once established, this platform is used for increasingly complex explorations and experiments into contemporary landscape issues.
