June 4, 2019 Univ of Arkansas Community Design Center – deadline to apply, June 17

The University of Arkansas Community Design Center is hiring for several full-time designers and we are looking for recent graduates and professionals for this opportunity. We are a 12-month teaching office with beautiful facilities on the downtown square and expanding to include a new Resiliency Center to be opened by the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design for Fall 2019. Our salaries and benefits are competitive and are state positions. Please see ad attached.

Current work includes design development and construction contracts for walk-up multifamily housing in support of downtown revitalization in Pine Bluff, AR; design for mixed-use development around a new square in Conway, AR; and a 130-acre bio-integrated farm complex in Hawaii among other projects. For those inclined, there are opportunities to be involved in design studio teaching.
