December 31, 2013 Career Day to Host Design Professionals and Firms on February 28
The College of Architecture and Design will hold its annual Career Day on Friday, February 28 in the Neyland Stadium Skyboxes. This is a valuable opportunity for firms to interface with the design talent of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
All architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and allied industry firms are invited to attend. Employers will gain access to student portfolios and resumes, be hosted in the pristine Neyland Stadium Skyboxes, have their work featured in the UT Art + Architecture Building, be showcased via the college’s social media, and treated to a reception at the Peter Kern Library located in the Oliver Hotel. Registration is required to participate.
Last year, in its inauguration, Career Day featured representatives from some of the most prestigious design firms inside and outside the region. Numerous students received positions across the country.
All students are welcome to participate by visiting Career Day; only those who submit a portfolio will be considered for an interview. Students are encouraged to attend one or all of the college’s Career Day prep events:
